Several cancer cure testimonials achieved using Treben’s recipes demonstrate the remarkable power of herbs. Treben usually advised dietary restrictions only in certain cases, such as diabetes, leukemia and psoriasis, meaning that the cures are typically attributed to the herbal formulas.

The testimonials pertain to cures of all kinds of cancers and radiation damages caused by cancer treatments. A testimony even describes how skin cancer was stopped in its development stages by using Chelidonium majus (greater celandine).

Treben recommends applying a poultice of Symphytum officinale (comfrey) meal mixed with hot water to treat metastasis and bone destruction caused by radiation. Using horsetail and Swedish Bitters poultices and sipping a tea of calendula and other herbs every few minutes is said to cure lung cancer. Abdominal tumors and metastases can be treated by applying a poultice of Swedish Bitters on the abdomen and drinking teas that Treben advises for abdominal diseases. Intestinal cancer can be treated by drinking Thuja plecata tea. Epilobium parviflorum is said to have a curative effect on colorectal cancer.
