There are many original and reproduction German eagle Insignia dating from World War II available for sale today. These were worn specifically by the Wehrmacht in WWII. An amazing collection of WWII German Labor corps caps for the overseas division has been found with the German eagle and swastika stamp. It has a metal cap insignia and the inside is marked with the maker stamp of A.L.M.I.
Another helmet marked J56 1941 also carries the eagle insignia from this World War II helmet along with the swastika. The German Air Force WWII German Luftwaffe paratroopers’ helmet is available with the single decal and is known as the M42 Helmet. It was actually issued soon after the SS had replaced the German Police Force. Crafted out of pure green wool the police cap has a brown wool center band and is finished with orange piping. It is also maker marked on the inside and has an interesting officers issue silver chin cord. The eagle insignia from the World War II cap is placed right on the front and follows the 2nd pattern Police Eagle. Considered a very rare piece, it retails for more than thousand dollars online.
