Cranberry Jelly Sauce

To prepare some delicious cranberry jelly sauce: start by heating 1 cup of sugar with 1 cup of water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Add 12 ounces of fresh cranberries, 2 teaspoons of chopped orange zest and 2 tablespoons of fresh squeezed orange juice and then reduce the heat to medium.

Keep stirring while you cook the sauce for 10 minutes and then remove from the heat. Strain through a sieve mash the cranberries till there is no pulp left on the strainer. Let it cool at room temperature and then refrigerate till serving time.

Stuffing

Prepare the stuffing with Turkey sausages mixed with onions, celery and mushrooms that have been sautéed lightly in a tablespoon of butter. Pre-heat the oven to 350°F and use a ready-made stuffing mix from the market to mix it with 3 3/4 cups of chicken stock to prepare a smooth broth.

Stir and cook on low heat along with 3 tablespoons of butter and boil this mixture for 3 to 5 minutes. In a large bowl combine the sausage and vegetable mixture with two handfuls of croutons and then pour on the liquid mixture.

Toss and combine carefully and transfer to a greased casserole. Cover and bake for 40 minutes, remove the cover and bake for five minutes for a crisp top. Run a fork through this stuffing to make it fluffy before you serve it.

Easy Roasted Turkey Recipe

If you want to make this open faced turkey sandwich at any other time of the year, you can utilize an easy roasted turkey recipe. Simply soak the turkey in a brine solution overnight in the refrigerator. In the morning rinse it out completely and pat dry with towels.

Sprinkle different seasonings like black pepper, sage, garlic powder and onion powder all over the turkey as well as inside. Stuff the cavity with one finely chopped sweet yellow onion, 8 garlic cloves, a few celery stalks and half a sliced orange.
