Turkey Cutlets with Easy Boursin Sauce

This is an excellent turkey cutlet recipe that has a rich and enhanced flavor due to the boursin cheese. You can serve these cutlets along with rice or potatoes to make a delightful and filling meal. The best thing about this recipe is that you need about ten minutes for preparation and you will be done cooking in about half an hour at the maximum.

The list of ingredients that you will need includes about 2 pounds of turkey cutlets. You can make up to 8 cutlets with this much meat. Along with this you will need some olive oil Creole seasoning blend, minced garlic, chicken broth, boursin peppered cheese, milk and some cream of mushroom. If you can’t find cream of mushroom then you can make do with cream of chicken soup.

Start off by heating about one tablespoon of olive oil in a large sized skillet over moderate heat. Use the Creole seasoning blend to give the turkey cutlets a nice coating on both sides and transfer them to the skillet. You need to cook them for about four minutes until they start getting brown.

Next you need to add the garlic and chicken broth to the skillet and bring the contents to a boil. Now turn the heat low and simmer for another four minutes uncovered. Following this cover the skillet and simmer for ten more minutes. Now take the turkey cutlets out and put them on a serving dish on the side.

Now you need to prepare the boursin sauce. For these you need to add the boursin cheese with the milk and the soup in a skillet. Mix them until all the contents have blended well together. Place the cutlets in this mixture and simmer it for about two minutes.

Your rich tasting turkey cutlets are now ready to be served along with the creamy sauce. You can add some potatoes, sliced tomatoes or any other vegetables that you prefer along with the turkey cutlets to make it a complete and wholesome meal.

As mentioned above you can experiment a lot with the sauces that can accompany the turkey cutlets. Changing the sauce will add a whole new dimension to the dish. Amongst the popular sauces is a specially prepared mushroom based sauce that has chunks of mushrooms in it as well. Turkey cutlets with parmesan and tomato sauce is also extremely popular. You also have the option to serve the turkey cutlets with or without the gravy.
