Breckenridge Gondola Restaurant

If you want to eat at a Breckenridge gondola restaurant, you usually have three choices depending upon the time of year you visit the area. Continue reading for more details about eating at a Breckenridge gondola restaurant.

Ski Hill Grill

Ski Hill Grill is a Breckenridge gondola restaurant located at the base of Peak 8. You can dine on classic American fare such as homemade barbeque, hamburgers and hot dogs. T-Bar is connected to Ski Hill Grill and offers food and drinks on June weekends and daily from July 1 until Labor Day. The bar has happy hours even on Friday nights as well as daily food and libation specials. You can also listen to live music, participate in or watch a mini-golf tournament and play coin toss.

Sevens Restaurant

Sevens Restaurant is located at the base of Peak 7 right near the Breckenridge gondola resort. This eatery serves lunch and dinner. You can bring your dog to daily happy hours between 3 and 6 p.m. Appetizer specials, free treats for your dog and canine-inspired beer and wine are offered.

Breckenridge Gondola Tickets

You can get Breckenridge gondola tickets weather-permitting most months of the year. Generally, Breckenridge gondola times are from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. though this varies during the year. The gondolas can handle 3,000 people per hour and the ride usually takes about 10 minutes. You can bring your ski equipment onboard and watch the scenic views as you rise 392 feet alongside the Cucumber Gulch wildlife habitat area.

Breckenridge Gondola Prices

Tourists pay nothing for Breckenridge gondola prices. Parking prices vary depending upon which lot you choose but usually do not exceed $15. If you are willing to walk a little bit, you can usually find free all-day parking. Use common sense when parking. Do not leave any valuables in the vehicle.

Chair Lift

You can also use a chair lift ride which offers similar views to the gondola, without the gondola style cars. The chair lift will put you near the restaurants and activities of Breckenridge and is also free. This mode of transportation can accommodate as many as 37,880 people per hour so lines may be significantly shorter.

Breckenridge Fun Park

Both the gondola and chair lift will take you close to Breckenridge Fun Park, which offers several types of alpine slides that you and your kids can use at your own pace to go around a mountain track. Group 4 x 4 safari-style tours are also available along with rock pile climbing, guided and independent hikes, pony rides, mountain biking and a trampoline that allows you to rise as high as 20 feet into the air. Part of the park is also dog-friendly and makes it a good stop before or after a Sevens Restaurant canine-friendly happy hour.
