On the court the celebration lasted maybe two seconds. Frozen, it becomes a full theatrical solo, performed on sand at maximum volume. The opponent in the background is still processing the point. The winner has already moved on to the acceptance speech.
Beach volleyball runs on momentum, and players are coached to celebrate loudly on purpose, because visible energy rattles the opponent before the next serve. The scream is half joy, half tactics. The camera only kept the joy.
