Heat your oven to 350°F and grease a 15 x 10 x 1″ baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. Use a small bowl to prepare the turkey meatballs by mixing 2 pounds of turkey mince with 1/4 cup of instant oats, 1/4 teaspoon of dried Italian seasoning, grated 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese and season this with 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder.
Beat in two egg whites and mix thoroughly. Shape them into 3/4 inch meatballs and place in the fridge for 10 minutes. Line them on the baking sheet and bake them in a pre-heated oven for 20 minutes or till the meat is no longer pink.

For delicious Italian meatballs you will require 3 pounds of ground turkey which should be mixed with one medium chopped bell pepper and one medium diced onion of small size. Soak three slices of bread in milk to soften them and mash them. Season it with salt and pepper to taste and add the Italian flavor with crushed and dried oregano and Italian seasoning to your taste. Combine all these ingredients together and shape them into medium-sized meatballs. Heat a skillet with 2 tablespoons of butter and brown the meatballs only till they are firm but not cooked through.
Italian Meatball Sauce
In a small pan heat 32 ounces of Italian style ketchup with 7 ounces of tomato sauce. Flavor it with one medium-sized can of crushed pineapple and add in one medium diced onion and one medium bell pepper cut into squares. Let the sauce simmer gently on a low flame till the vegetables are cooked but not tender. Meanwhile you should be frying the meatballs.
Once you have the meatballs prepared, slide them into the sauce very carefully so that they do not break. Cook and simmer the meatballs in the tomato sauce for approximately 30 minutes. Serve on a bed of cooked pasta or with Italian bread.
