The region of Putignano, Italy is famous for the Carnival of Putignano which happens to be one of the three most culturally significant festivals of Italy. With a total population of about 30,000 people, Putignano is located in the region of Puglia which lies in the south of Italy. The exact location of Putignano places it at a 40 km distance from the Apulian capital of Bari.
