Good morning, good afternoon and good evening can be said in Korean with the words Annyong haseyo and Annyong hashimnikka while goodbye to the person who is leaving is pronounced as Annyonghi kasayo if the departing person is a male and Annyonghi kashipshiyo if the person is a female. Similarly if a person is addressing one who is staying behind then one would say Annyonghi kyesayo to the male and Annyonghi kyeshipshiyo to the female.
