History of Turkish Mauser bolt action guns
Mauser first built the Turk Model1893, which was a magazine cut off device in7.65 x 53 mm. The majority of the Turkish Mauser blot action guns present now are versions of the early 1940s Model 98. Sold as Model 38 they are available aplenty. These are long rifles patterned on the late 19th and early twentieth century designs.
Turkish Mauser bolt action guns are available in price range of $50 to $100. They can be used for big game hunting as well as converted into sporting rifles, though the cost of course would be prohibitive.

1. Model 38: The Turkish republic had ordered updating of their old models to a common configuration which was known as the Model of 1938. Among the rifles that were converted were the models Gew.88, Gew.98, 1893 and 1903.
2. 1938 K Kale: Isolation of the Second World War made the Turks turn to assemble their own rifles from salvaged parts. It seems all Turkish assembled rifles from that period are marked K. Kale.
3. 38/48 short rifle K. Kale: These are same as the 1938 standard except they are shorter in length.
4. 03/38 short rifle: Yet another standardization rifle which is the same as the 1903 conversion to the 1938 standard, but of a shorter length. These may not always have a turned down bolt.
5. 1954 ATF marked rifles: The Turks built alot of these rifles by adapting German Gew.88 World War 2 rifles.
