The Dyke path of Offa is close to the cottage, which overlooks anornamental parterre. The ground floor of the cottage has a huge living room with a seating area, dining area and a kitchen. The same floor also has a twin bedroom with en suite. The first floor has a double bedroom with an attached bathroom, and is accessed through a beautiful spiral stairway. Outside, there is a beautiful and well-maintained garden with furniture, a porch and a summer house. The cottage has been recently renovated to the best possible standard, but still retains its original character. Doors, beams and flooring made of wood render an idyllic atmosphere to the cottage.

The living area is heated by a wooden stove, apart from central gas heating. Gadgets, such as electric cooker, refrigerator, microwave, TV, DVD player, and so on make the place luxurious. The fuel and power usage are included in the cottage rent. There is parking for one car. Restaurants, shops and pubs are at walking distance from the cottage.
Activities in the Vicinity of Ruthin
The Black Mountains are very close to the cottage and form the eastern part of the Brecon Beacons National park. This area is excellent for walking amidst a landscape that is rich in wildlife and sceneries. Abergavenny, Monmouth, and Hay-on-Wye are all a few minutes’ drive from the cottage. Cardiff and Ludlow can be accessed via pleasant train journeys.

The coastal waters of Cardigan Bay in West Wales are home to attractive wildlife, particularly the Bottlenose Dolphins.
