Essentially preparing a French toast is a piece of cake! The ingredients are easily available, and the preparation and cooking time is very little. You can prepare French toasts using a frying pan, skittle or a griddle.

The procedure for preparing French toast is the same for all, some people consider the griddle to be more convenient. An electric Griddle is perfect for preparing breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It resists warping and allows heat to be distributed evenly.

The only thing to remember when using an electric griddle is that the safety precautions and the given instructions need to be followed to avoid any injury or physical damage.

Ingredients:

  • 1 loaf of French or Italian bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter or non-stick cooking spray
  • Powdered sugar (optional)
  • Syrup

Instructions:

Begin by heating the griddle to medium to high heat.  The recommended temperature is 325° – 350° and the estimated cooking time is 4–6 minutes.

Blend together the eggs, cinnamon, milk and a dash of salt and pepper.

Spray or coat with butter. Next, dip the bread slices in the mixture, turn over to cover each side. Allow the bread to soak the mixture well.

Now fry the slices in the griddle for four to six minutes. Toss the French toasts on a plate, cutting each in two. You may sprinkle powdered sugar if you like. You can serve with maple syrup or butter, based on your preferences.
