French Toast Ice Cream

This dessert is ideal for those who are short of time and have to prepare a presentable dessert for a large group. It is extremely easy to prepare within minutes using simple and easily available ingredients.

All you need to do is to simply select your favourite ice-cream, prepare a crunchy French toast, and combine the two together and serve with your desired topping.

The total preparation time is ten minutes and the total cooking time is four minutes. We have taken Vanilla ice-cream to enhance the variety of flavours. The following recipe serves one person, if you are serving more increase the quantity of ice-cream and toasts in the given ratio.

Ingredients:

1 1/4 cups Vanilla Ice Cream

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Powdered Sugar

4 slices Texas style bread

Maple syrup

1/2 cup fruit toppings

(Blueberries, Strawberries, Raspberries)

Instructions:

Scoop the ice-cream and add cinnamon in a bowl which is microwave-safe. Set your microwave to High and time it for 25 seconds. Use these setting if you have a 1000 watt microwave.

Use the given time, altering it if required to make sure that the ice-cream is melted. Then stir and pour in a dish. Spray a large skillet with cooking spray and then heat it on medium heat.

You then need to dip the bread slices in the mixture that you prepared. Turn each slice over to coat and cover both sides well. Serve as soon as ready. Top with maple syrup, your preferred choice of fruit toppings and sprinkle powdered sugar over.

And you’re done! Your delicious French toast ice cream is ready to be served to your guests.
