Maud Adams
Born on 12 February 1945, Maud’s most famous roles to date were in Octopussy and as 2 different Bond girls in “The man with the golden gun”. She was born in Sweden and made her venture into modeling in 1963 thanks to a photographer who took her photos and submitted them for the Miss Sweden contest. Her subsequent win saw her commence her modeling career with a bang. When she later moved to Paris and subsequently New York, she started work with Eileen Ford. In 1970 she was launched in the movie “The boys in the band”. Her role in “The man with the golden gun” brought her international acclaim. She also ventured into television that was not a very successful stint. She was married twice and does not have any children.
Malin Åkerman
Malin is a famous Swedish actress that is known internationally. Born on 12 May 1978, Malin is an actress and model with Swedish-Canadian origins. Her renowned movies are Couples Retreat, 27 dresses, The heartbreak kid, The proposal, The brother’s Solomon and Watchmen. She was born in Sweden, but her family migrated to Canada when she was just 2 years old. She was the winner of the “Ford Supermodel of Canada” contest when she was 17 years old. She started her career as a model and then ventured into acting. She has also lent her voice to the band “Petalstones” and is the current endorser and model for the renowned fashion brand “Remetee”. She is married to an Italian musician Roberto Zincone, whom she married in 2007.
Anita Ekberg
She is one of the famous Swedish actresses and is also a model and a renowned sex symbol too. Her 1960 film “La Dolce Vita” is her most remembered film to date that shot her to fame. Born on 29 September 1931, she started her career as a fashion model and went on to win the Miss Sweden contest in 1950. As a result, she went to the United States for the Miss Universe contest with absolutely no proficiency in speaking English. This contest won her a contract with Universal Studios that started her journey in films. More than her films she was known for her publicity antics and soon became a famous pin-up. She has been married two times and does not have any children.
